Medicare Education–Wednesday, June 25 at 10:00 AM. If you’re turning 65, approaching retirement, or just transitioning to Medicare–this workshop is for you! During this free educational session, we will review the various parts of Medicare and help you chart a clear path forward so you have the coverage you need, when you need it. Book Discussion–Thursday, June 26 at 1:00 PM This month we will be discussing On Animals by Susan Orlean. Copies of the book will be available about a month before we meet. Registration is required.
North Shore Bank presents Smart Finance, Bright Futures–Thursday, June 26 at 5:00 PM. Join us for a Financial Literacy Workshop for teens and young adults. Learn some techniques of budgeting, investing, and securing your financial future. Our friendly finance advisor will guide you through the essentials in a beginner-friendly environment.
Movie Monday–July 7 at 10:00 AM. Enjoy a movie on the library’s big screen. We will be showing the PG-rated movie IF, starring Ryan Reynolds. All are welcome to attend.
Wednesday, July 9 at 10:30-11:30 AM. Drop in to learn about UW-Parkside’s Educational Opportunity Center. The EOC provides free goal-setting services and degree completion assistance to qualifying adults. Explore how you can achieve your educational goals!
Game On! Community Board Games–Thursday, July 10 at 10:00 – 11:30 AM Come to the library to play board games with friends and neighbors! We’ll have a few games to choose from, but feel free to bring one of your own. Registration is not required.
Adult Craft–Thursday, July 10 at 1:00 PM. Registration required. Join us as we upcycle scrap paper into paper beads. All supplies are provided.
Team Puzzle Tournament–Saturday, July 19 at 10:00 AM. Do you love to do jigsaw puzzles? Do you want to try to be the fastest to complete a 500 piece puzzle? Sign up for our puzzle tournament! Sign up must be as a team–up to four people per team. Children are welcome to be on a team as long as their parent or guardian is also on the team. Limited to four teams total.
