Monday Movie–September 28 at 10:00 AM. Watch a movie on the library’s big screen! We will be showing the family-friendly historical drama White Bird (PG-13), starring Helen Mirren. No registration needed.

Digital Drop-In–Friday, October 2 at 11:00 AM Do you have questions about how to use the library’s digital resources like Libby or Ancestry.com? We will be here to help!

Key Facts to Know about Medicare–Tuesday, October 6 at 1:00 PM. Learn about Medicare from Timber Oaks/Oak Ridge Care staff.  This session kicks off our monthly Empowered Aging Series; classes that are designed for older adults. Each month will be a different topic. Please call or register online.

Board Games–Thursday, October 8 at 10:00 AM to noon. Come to the library to play board games with friends and neighbors. We’ll have a few games to choose from, but feel free to bring one of your own. No registration needed.

Craft Swap–Friday & Saturday, October 23 & 24 during library hours. Swap your new or gently-used leftover craft supplies with others. Don’t have supplies to swap? No problem! Stop by and take whatever you need. 

Adult DIY–Thursday, October 29 at 1:00 PM. Join us for a monthly staff-led craft. October’s project is faux gothic candles. All supplies are provided. Registration is required and limited. Please call to register.

What are We Doing? Beginning your Tree on the Right Branch–Thursday, October 29 at 5:30 PM. If you are interested in genealogy, but haven’t really started, this skills class will help you start on the right branch. We will talk about charts and forms, primary and secondary resources, and databases that can be used to fill in the blanks of your family history. Class is led by a professional genealogist.
