Safe Online Shopping–Thursday, March 12 at 1:00 PM Learn how to avoid scams and keep your personal information safe when shopping online. Presented by the State of WI Division of Trade & Consumer Protection. Please register.
Making the Journey–Thursday, March 19 at 1:00 PM Experts from Old World Wisconsin will be teaching us about the Norwegian immigrant experience. Discover historical attire and a genuine trunk filled with items an immigrant may have brought with them on their journey to America. Please register. Limited to 20 attendees.
Friday Movie–March 20 at 10:00 AM Enjoy a movie on the library’s big screen! We will be showing the 2021 drama American Underdog (PG), based on the life of NFL quarterback Kurt Warner. All are welcome to attend.
Afternoon Book Club–Thursday, March 26 at 1:00 PM Join us as we discuss Dead Wake by Erik Larson. Please register. Books are available to check out now; ask at the front desk.
Craft Swap–Friday & Saturday, March 27 & 28 during library hours. Do you have leftover craft supplies you no longer need? Drop-in and swap them for new-to-you supplies. Please bring your clean, usable items during the swap hours. If you don’t have anything to swap, it’s ok—still join the fun and pick up supplies! No registration needed.
Board Games–Thursday, April 9 at 10:00 AM All are welcome to play board games. We will provide a few–Yahtzee, Scrabble, Connect Four–but feel free to bring your own game. No regstration needed.
Friday Movie–April 10 at 10:00 AM Enjoy a movie on the library’s big screen! We will be showing the 2019 mystery Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase (PG), based on the popular book series. All are welcome to attend.
Planning AHEAD series–Weekly on Tuesdays, April 14 to May 26 at 1:00 PM Planning AHEAD is an end-of-life planning curriculum for all ages developed by UW–Madison Division of Extension faculty and staff. This 7-session research-based program will help participants understand how to prepare for the end of life for themselves or a loved one, and why it’s important to have a plan in place. Registration is required and limited to 15 participants. For the most benefit, please try to attend all 7 sessions.
