List of Events

Movie Monday–September 8 at 10:00 AM Enjoy a movie on the library’s big screen! We will be showing the PG-13 rated drama Hidden Figures. All are welcome to attend.   

Board Games–Thursday, September 11 at 10:00 AM All are welcome to play board games. We will provide a few–Yahtzee, Scrabble, Connect Four–but feel free to bring your own game. No regstration needed.

***New Program:  Evening Thriller Book Club–Tuesday, September 16 at 5:30 PM We’re excited to start a new book club where all the books we read will be thrillers or mysteries! We kick things off this month with The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware. Copies will be available at the library about a month before we meet. Please register online or by calling us. 

Growing Mushrooms–Thursday, September 18 at 1:00 PM Let’s learn about mushrooms! A local grower will be here to teach us how to produce delicious, healthy mushrooms. Registration is suggested.

Book Discussion–Thursday, September 25 at 1:00 PM This month we will be discussing Silas Marner by George Eliot. Copies of the book will be available about a month before we meet. Registration is required.   

Investing for Adults–Thursday, September 25 at 5:00 PM Representatives from the Union Grove North Shore Bank will be here with information on how to invest money. Please register.
