Build & Play–Mondays, July 6, 13, 20, & 27 at 2:00-6:00 PM. Drop-in for brick building and games for children and teens. No registration required.
Snake Discovery–Tuesday, July 7 at 10:00 AM at Union Grove Elementary School. All ages are welcome to this family-friendly program. Learn about the world’s reptiles up close!
Story Time– Wednesdays, July 8, 15, 22, & 29 at 10:00 AM. Note–July 22 & 29 story time will be outside at School Yard Park. Enjoy stories, songs, movement, and more! Story time is planned for children 2-4 years old, but all children infant and older and their caregivers are welcome. No registration needed.
Destination DIY–Thursdays, July 9, 16, 23, & 30 at 3:30 PM We’ll be taking a summer “road trip” to explore the USA! Enjoy art or STEM activities at each “stop.” Recommended for ages 4 and older. Please call or register online.
NaHale Studios–Tuesday, July 14 at 10:00 AM at Union Grove Elementary School. All ages are welcome to this family-friendly program. Experience Hawaiian dances, conch calls, drums, and ukulele.
Basket Weaving–Wednesday, July 15 at 4:00 PM. Join us for a hands-on basket weaving workshop with guest artist Julie Clark (Oneida Nation of Wisconsin). Julie will share her journey as a basket maker and bring a variety of baskets for students to explore through touch and story. Participants will then create their own small woven mat using reed, perfect as a wall hanging, mug rug, or potholder. For ages 8 and older. Limited to 10 participants. Registration is required.
Abraham Lincoln: A New Birth of Freedom–Thursday, July 16 at 1:00 PM. Don’t miss this! Abe Lincoln as portrayed by Kevin Wood, will be here to talk about the entire period from Independence through the Civil War, especially the 12 turbulent years from 1854-1865. He will also share Mr. Lincoln’s inspiring personal story. Suitable for ages 8 years and older. No registration needed.
Movie Monday–July 20 at 10:00 AM. Enjoy a movie on the big screen! We will be showing Wicked: for Good (rated PG), based on The Wizard of Oz. No registration needed.
Pajama Story Time–Thursday, July 23 at 6:00 PM. Join us for an evening of stories and activities. Registration required. Call us or register on our website.
Wehr Nature Center–Tuesday, July 28 at 10:00 AM at Union Grove Elementary School. All ages are welcome to this family-friendly program. We will be learning about the world beneath our feet.
